Hearty Vegetable Soup (with ham or ground beef/turkey)

Great for all blood types, adjust ingredients to fit your diet.

Ingredients:
  • Ham bone or diced ham (or sub browned ground beef or turkey)
  • Olive Oil
  • Celery
  • Onion
  • Kale
  • Peas
  • Okra
  • Corn
  • Carrots
  • Green Beans
  • Stewed tomatoes
  • V8 Juice
  • Celery Salt
  • Pepper
  • Water
  • (Can also add limas, cabbage, mushrooms and potatoes)
How to make it:
  1. Chop/slice/dice all vegetables (can use some canned)
  2. Saute Onion and Celery in olive oil until soft. Add 2 small cans of V8 juice and a little water, add the ham bone or other diced/browned meat and simmer for 30 mins or so. Add all other ingredients and simmer on low for an hour or two or in a slow cooker crock pot for at least 4 hours or up to 10. If using a meat other than Ham add celery salt to taste.
