Hello

I am new to this forum.  I have a bone marrow problem myelodysplasia where my white blood cells, haemogloblin and platelets are all lower than normal. I have been having transfusions since last October.  I have been going to a few different people seeking alternative treatments. I have been looking into the Blood type diet having purchased the Eat Right for your type book some time ago and more recently Live Right for your type. I am B+.

I would be interested if anyone has or has had any type of bone marrow problems and any results from the BTD.

Thank you

Welcome Glenda!

I have not personally had bone marrow problems.

But there has been some discussion of bone marrow problems and blood type diet.

Here is a link to some of the prior discussion:

Hi Glenda, I had low white blood count problem 10 years ago and referred to oncologist right away.
Doctor said there are no drugs available and he was just checking blood count every 3 or 4 month.
I asked any way I can improve my immunity and was told none.
I tried improve my diet but did not have much knowledge.
After 4 years Doctor says I don't have to come any more because there is nothing he can do.

When I found out I am prediabetic 4 years ago I started seeing Endocrinologist and he gave me the prescription at the first visit.
I told doctor I Ilike to try without medication for 3 month first.
I started reading books on nutrition immunity and inflammation and made slow but steady
progress on my blood sugar and white blood count.
Finally my blood count reached above minimum in January 2012 and blood sugar A1c 5.0 optimal range in July 2013 without any medication.

I used to get very painfull infection inside of mouth 2 or 3 times a month.
I learned BTD in September 2012 and started SWAMI right away.
Within 3 month I am not getting any mouth infection and all allergy cleared.

Thank you Dr.D.
Please trust Dr.D and follow his guide.
I learned doctors are your support but it is all in your hand.

Good luck with you.

I've been doing quite a lot of searching around on here and can't find much about  bone marrow or problems with it. I'm also on a marrow forum and seems to be heaps of people with MDS (Myelodysplasia Syndrome) but maybe none follow BTD.  I have regular blood tests and when haemogloblin gets down around 80 to 70 I go and have a blood transfusion (red blood cells) I mainly experience symptoms associated with anemia e.g pounding heart when walking up hill. I have started going to a Natural Therapist here and she reckons the problem is in my kidneys.

I can't seem to find the list of diseases BTD is recommended for. Can anyone help me with that?

sunnyside  What a great post above..

Glenda M H  Please read the post by sunnyside..

Then look around on here.. loo at On-line support above: and click on Health Protocols
and you will see how detailed the answers can be..

BTD will make you get well.  Look for any book in the libray, or look under Products for books and test kits.. or order Swami, by calling the office. You will not regret it.. It takes time, but is worth it. I spent decades without BTD and was sick for decades! Now I am terrriffic.

I still use my doctor to confirm what I do, and he supports me in all conversations.. if he did not I would change doctors.

Thanks for info re the book store.  I've actually been loosely doing the BTD for a while now but maybe doing the SWAMI would fine tune things.  I'm going into hospital tomorrow morning for another transfusion so will look more into the books and Swami when I come home on Friday.

and also the healing mushrooms, would go and do a test what kind of mushroom will be best for you... for example: or Reishi or ABM.... ;) :D(smarty)(ok)(smile)
