I wouldn't worry about papaya. I'd worry more about eating red meat and lima beans |

Eve, under the food list on line Papaya was an avoid for A, but under Swami it is a neutral for me now and I do eat it as it helps with digestion.

Think this is a case where the lectin is the concern. Typebase says... AVOID: Flocculates serum or precipitates serum proteins.
I would think the enzyme (which I think is what you are saying) would be ok as it helps digest protein, which is a more of a concern for some. When the papaya is green, it has more enzyme.
I have found at a certain time I was juicing papayas and it seemed like what I needed. I haven't felt the need for them lately. That could have been a lycopene thing or something else in it.
I am a personal fan of listening to my body- with the exception that the body can lie when bacterial imbalance, yeast, or food allergens (causing craving). It's a balance thing for me.
There are other forms of digestive enzymes you might want to look into. Some can be used therapeutically between meals.
I am not a health care professional. This is just my personal experience.
