I'm a long time sufferer of chronic back pain and have often spoken about it here ..well a few weeks ago I stopped eating red meat as I noticed that when I do eat it, my back flares up...I was amazed at the difference!!! I have been reading about uric acid and inflammation such as arthritis but I never knew it could contribute to muscle aches too...now as a B, I'm supposed to eat lamb and not chicken ...I've basically stopped eating all red meat, hardly any chicken and mostly fish with a few vegetarian days in between ..I feel a lot better and have lost weight

funny thing... I cut WAY back on my protein too, especially red meat and saturated fat and have been eating mostly fish (at least breakfast and lunch) and my digestion is amazingly better. I eat more fat in the form of olive oil and omega 3's and now I can eat almost all vegetables and alot of them (at least the  ones I've tried so far, and I've done alot of testing) that I couldn't digest before and it's perfect. I can eat nuts too and am losing weight and feel tons better. I'm about 25% carbs(veg) 25% protein and 50% fat in the omega 3, nuts and olive oil forms. My blood sugar went from low 100's to low to mid 70's consistently and the always hungry thing is gone. I've incorporated the Rosedale Diet macronutrient plan with BT foods and at least for now, it's totally working for me. Now when I do eat red meat, it's 3 oz and AFTER my veg and other food. It seems to slow my digestion if I eat it before veggies. I always thought I couldn't eat veg and only protein and fat because alone they never bothered me but it was the veg sitting on top of the bigger more frequent portions of protein that caused the problem. I'm so happy I FINALLY figured it out! I hope it keeps working!

Inflammation of any kind for any reason can show up as aches and pains.

What is interesting about this way of learning what to eat, is that you get better all the time.. oh yes the healing never ends.. and seemingly after we read the same words over and over we somehow suddenly understand some things that before we did not see at all.

Like I fought giving up coffee, or decaf, and yet when I finally just tried cocoa powder in hot water, little did I know that I would experience feeling even better.

I never tried to eat meat after the veggetables, but I will try that and see what will happen.

My sugar numbers seem to be better after taking some of the sups, which is a good thing, especially since I have been rather bad in compliance, to many parties.  but even cheating after all my years on BTD a few changes in foods with Swami, and I still am making internal changes.. I can not remember when I last had a bone issue of inflammation..

Being here is invaluable, but not enough. We need ALL the Doctors. I needed them for a very small cancer spot-I could never feel!!! Please do your mammograms! Doing so saved me from cancer later on. I am grateful! Thanks for learning from my experience! I was lucky! I wish the same for YOU!
