(and this seems to be nutritional yeast for me)......does it mean you're intolerant to it?
I'm not sure what's going on with this.
I ate too much of it last night, and had the taste exuding from my lips all afternoon to the point I was wiping my lips for nothing. And farting in our already noisy workplace! (good thing). Then here comes a big inflamed place on my chin this evening - resulting in a small pimple.

With the exception of the wind chime effect, that was my reaction also from the nutritional yeast... even more immediate than that with the breakout though It is so hard to know if a reaction like that is a good one or not eh? That's why it is great to be able to query things on a forum like this When I reacted to split peas with clear the room gas & mentioned it on here I was advised it might be the molydenum in the split peas binding with the stored sulphur in my system & getting rid of it...& sure enough the more I ate them the less I got wind |

If only avoids gave you the wind, I couldn't eat anything at all. Nowadays, everything makes me blow holes in my underdraws. If I had a normal life, I would seek professional help, but I still have the mind of a 5th grader when it comes to poot. I find it entertaining, and for the most part, people around me that do not share the fondness of my flatulence, are at least somewhat amused by my amusement of them. Everyone's a winner here, unless your down wind. Some of the funniest times are when I feel a dookie pain and think I have to drop a load, but when I sit down I just end up singing in the toilet for the next five minutes. It does tend to freak people out when they here you laughing hysterically in a bathroom, then see you come out all straight faced like you just got out of a meeting. Sorry for all the details, this is something I'm glad I never grew out of. I still laugh when other people do it, but have realized they don't appreciate it like myself. Somehow I end up being the rude one. Have fun with it. Enjoy! |

Eating nutritional yeast supplies your body with lots of Vitamin Bs. I would assume not all of these Vitamins are absorbed in your digestive track. This leave enough vitamins to nourish the gas producing microbes in your intestinal track. They are taking advantage of the extra nutrients that you are supplying them. |

You might be "intolerant" to such large quantities of it. I would try it again, but in much smaller amounts and see how your body responds. |
