about 8 years on the BTD and how my life has changed. started the diet when i was 22 after i found my mum had coeliac disease and started to look for a way to loose weight as i had porked up to 110kgs or more and then i stopped weighing myself. in about 6mths was down to 75kgs and friends and family didn't recognise me when i went back home for a birthday party as i had changed so much. Wish i had started changing to the BTD when i brought the book and read it 9 mths before. i think something inside just said give it a go it all seems valid so why not. made such a difference have more energy and recover quicker than before. want to go out more don't care so much about how i look as when i was overweight. can identify if a food I've eaten has been sprayed with chemicals as will notice a reaction so next time avoid that and try it from another location. did have a few hiccups for a little while as i got complacent and started to believe what others said and would be alright with eating what they ate. I paid-ed for that so now i have my focus back and don't listen to others. I find what works and then stick to it. Since changing to the BTD diet notice that my thinking is clearer and that my general state is better. Had so much energy when first changed that people at work thought i was on drugs. that was funny to me as i don't smoke, drink or do drugs. so glad that i found the BTD diet book as the change it has made to my life has been enormous and don't know what would have happened if i didn't change my life style. Can never express how thankful I'm for the information in the book and how it has changed me for the better, everything doesn't seem as bad even when things are going wrong, can just take things in my stride and move on and not let it get me down. learning everyday new ways to follow the BTD and add other info i find to suit it it is my bible so to speak. |

Well Davien, you are one of those 'oldies' on board then!! I do respect you as a 'superior' in BTD lifestyle that is... Next October 1st I will be 'on' for 7 years... Yesss!!!! Sheesh!! What great health advantage you have compared to us, to have found the BTD at the age of 22.. I often wonder 'where' I would have been when I would have found the BTD at that age??? You are soo lucky!! Well wish you well and take care Cocky |
