the strict avoidance of harmfull lectins for your type, will automatically make you feel good, ofcourse.
unless you were to do your secretor testing and turned out to be a nonnie, then you would have to eat accordingly. and that too will make you feel real good!! ) |

The diet is definitely for everyone, not just those with serious illness. The diet is designed to keep us from getting those diseases as well as recover from them. I have a weight problem but no serious illness other than the tiredness and fatigue you mention. I've had great improvement in how I feel, sleeping better, much less of the tiredness and fatigue. I still have a weight issue, but that is mainly because I haven't followed the program terribly strictly. I'm probably less concerned about appearance than most and just not motivated without any other problems and feeling so good. I am working on it though, and eating much better in recent weeks. Will it make you look better? It has to, with healthier skin, etc. I'm not sure I agree with this, but one of our corporate trainers like this saying.
If you look good, you'll feel good. If you feel good, you'll do good. If you do good, you are good. So just look good.
The basis of the Perricone diet is sort of on this premise. Your outward appearance, especially the condition of your skin is a reflection of your overall health. So a diet that is aimed at improving the appearance of your skin will make you healthier as well. It seems to be easier to motivate people to improve their appearance than their health with some exceptions like myself. The blood type diet will do all that and more. You're much smarter to do it now, before any big problems develop, whatever the motivation. |

Looking Good & Feeling Good!
I am back at freelancing and have been bumping into co-workers that I have not seen in over 1-2 years. Every single one of them are amazed at the new me.
I have been told:
* Wow! * You look great! * You look refreshed! * You lost weight! * I did not recognize you! * You look like a new person! * You look good!
About half of them asked me what I did. They seemed surprised or completely lost when I said how! Some of them said they would look into it because of my results! Hope they do! |

Thank you for sharing...wonderful testimony. I always refer to blood type analysis as a way of life and not a 'fad' diet. Yes, the basis of this lifestyle is the food, but the lifestyle and exercise strategies help to incorporate the BTD into a holistic approach to healthy living. Alia |

Hi, I'm new today to the Forum. Started the btd 4 weeks ago because I was at my wits end as to what to do next. Feeling absolutely awful, muscular pains especially in back of shoulders and lower back, and really thought I was seriously ill. Coming back from work each day and just longing to go to bed. Have tried all sorts of eating regimes over the years, but nothing lasted and now have so much to lose. Picked up Dr. D's book (that I'd bought 3 years ago) and decided that I had no other choice. Have been able to follow it well, with no desire to eat avoids. By the 3rd day, I noticed that I wasn't so tired, and it just went on from there! I cannot believe the change in my energy levels and so many muscular pains have disappeared. I still have joint pains due to osteoarthritis, but I know that will improve. I have already started telling my friends about it and have already got one convert, with another one wanting to read my book! Thank you for finally giving me answers to a lifetime of questions. Oh, nearly forgot, have already lost 11lbs in weight!! Watch this space. |
