I am an on-again, off-again BTD'er, but just recently may be much more compliant. Developed hip bursitis since visiting Mexico last week, and in my pain, was eating cheese to go down with each pain med. Funny, the pain wasn't going away.
Last night I took the pain med with a piece of eziekiel bread instead, and haven't had any cheese since - gee, I'm feeling a lot better today and have not had to take any meds!
The BTD is a splendid way to live. I have been living this lifestlye for the past six years. Over the years, I have tweaked and refinend my meals, exercise routine, stress minimizers, and lifestyle approaches to gain a better sense of well-being for optimal health.
As I approach every new year on this lifestyle, I gain more insight about my myself and how to treat my body the best way possible. The precepts of the BTD are ingrained into how I approach and live every day of my life.

I have been on the BTD for just 2 weeks but I feel amazing and my skin is glowing!! I love this way of eating. I don't have to feel guilty about having cheese or a steak. I no longer worry about how much olive oil I'm using and I no longer buy anything processed, (except my spelt flakes & skim milk). I've always felt like there had to be a reason I wasn't losing weight. I ate healthy (so I thought), I walked, counted calories, had my thyroid checked (it was fine) I just knew there had to be something more. I had heard about the BTD a few years ago, but not knowing my blood type, I didn't give it much thought. So 2 1/2 weeks ago I suddenly say to myself........Do the BTD! It was like a light bulb moment. I feel so good. I know this will be a way of life forever for me. I easily gave up all my avoids and I honestly don't miss them.
Isn't it nice to hear all of the positive stories, Great! The BTD has given me a foundation to build my way of eating upon and it has helped me in so many ways. Now that I don't eat beef, pork and chicken my IBS and other related problems in my lower gut have all gone away. Being accountable for what I eat and having a better knowledge of what foods to avoid and what foods heal is a blessing to me. The real jewel is this community right here, to ask questions share and learn, take advantage of this it's worth a million.
