I have a good friend who thinks she has Celiac, and is a little reluctant to start the BTD, although I gave her a copy of the book.  She wants to know if there's a connection between her conditions and being a type O.  Maybe there's a particular study or testimonial I can show her?  Thanks!

I guess too, like Lola, that it's merely a concern from us, the royals ......

Hi Isa, I am an hidden celiac in Italy from the beginning to eat solid food as my brother and I am secretor. Celiac disease has some genetic reasons but not always linked to secretorhood , also if it is more common in nonnies as Dr D. writes!

According to The Encyclopedia, all groups have the same risk. The overwhelmingly high risk is for nonnies of any type.

considering for tens of thousands years O's did not eat anything that had gluten in it, and considering non secretors can be considered an older variant then secretors then yes there is a connection.
