http://www.breadbeckers.com/

This site isn't cheap, but it's there.  I have friends who order 5 gallon buckets of grain. That said, I have made an offer in the past to buy bulk items from my local farmer's market, which is quite a bit cheaper per pound than breadbeckers, and mail it to interested parties.  All you'd have to pay me is price of item plus shipping and handling.

Here's what I pay for what's in my pantry:

oat flour $.99/lb
oat groats  .99
long grain brown rice  .59
split red lentils  .59
whole brown lentils  .69
moong dal  1.99
whole millet  .89
millet flour  .99
buckwheat flour 1.49
spelt flour  1.19
kamut berries 1.39
rye berries  .59
quinoa  2.29
quinoa flakes  3.99

All these are organic.  Again, just let me know if you want to order some, and I'll happily pick it up for you and mail it.

Ribbit, you are so sweet to go to the trouble to post all this and then offer to shop for people! I looked at the breadbeckers site and they do have a lot of stuff there. Do you find organic dried apricots at the market?

They're not organic.  The nuts and dried fruit selection is kind of hit-and-miss.  They always have conventional dried fruit and nuts, but not always organic.  Dried conventional apricots, sulfured or unsulfured, are $2.69/lb.

You can compare with Azure Standard and see what comes out best, factoring in shipping.  They ship for free in some western states, if there's enough product ordered at your stop on the route (you don't have to order it all yourself) and you pick it up at the delivery point.  They only come on my route about once a month I think, and I haven't tried that yet, I just have had them ship UPS.  I plan to call them and figure it all out.
