Does that merge the blood and genotype and secretor status food restrictions?

It creates a meld of BTD and GTD tailored more specifically for you.

thanks, I read the book, but am a little confused since some superfoods on the B Non-secretor list are considered "must avoids" on the Nomad list, and vice versa.  How can that be? Which one do I trust?

Have you taken this test?
http://www.dadamo.com/which_diet_is_right.htm

If so, then this is the right diet for you to follow - at least until you get your personalized SWAMIXpress diet printout.  It will blend the two diets specifically for you based on all of the information you provide.

See here for a SWAMIXpress sale on right now (in the U.S. only - probably until the end of March:

it's also important to remember that the BTD is about learning to live with and support the genes you have. GTD is more about adjusting your genes for now and for future. SWAMI blends the 2 of them... just for you. No 2 B+ NS Nomads will have the same SWAMI plan.

What does "No 2 B+ NS Nomads will have the same SWAMI plan" mean?

The test was almost 50/50, just slightly in favor of the Genotype diet, however I am non-secretor.

I'm still confused as to how SWAMI will discern whether the recommendations on the BTD vs. the geneotype are appropriate.  When I look at these two lists, there are some foods in common, but also lots of opposites, especially for non-secretors.

What zenphoenix is saying with this statement is that due to the amount of information entered into SWAMI that no two individuals - even B(+) Non-Secretor Nomads, will get the same food lists as output from SWAMI.

SWAMI is a complex software that will rate each food based on some 200 parameters taking into account the specific information you entered - all in an effort to stimulate genetic responses to enable a high quality of life.

yes, what ABJoe said.

As a fellow B+ Non Secretor, if you and i compared our SWAMI reports they would be vastly different. Even if we were the same genotype... our reports would be different because we have different body measurements, different fingerprints and different health and family histories.

I know several Bs who are similar in terms of blood type and secretor status and genotype... but their swami lists are different.

One more thing...if someone knows their blood type and genotype (using the kit), but not their secretor status, can SWAMI still create the diet for them?

Yes!  SWAMIXpress will allow you to run the calculations using Secretor and Non-Secretor to see what the differences are...

If they don't know their Genotype, SWAMI will compute that for them as well.  In fact, it is better to have SWAMI compute the Genotype rather than telling SWAMI that you are a specific Genotype, as the additional data may indicate a different Genotype than the few parameters used to determine the book Genotype.

I see...will it also create combined food lists, let's for a husband and wife that have different genotypes and blood types? (thinking of household cooking/shopping/sanity)

Current version does not do combined food or shopping lists.

This is a feature being added to the new version, but we don't know when it will be released.  The present users will be able to use the updated version when released, so this isn't a reason to delay purchasing or using the current version.

You need to pick one system and stick with it. There are three options: the Nomad diet "by the book", the B non-secretor diet "by the book" (although there are slight variations for a few different health issues) or a personalized SWAMI.

SWAMI is the most individualized and likely to yield the best results, both in terms of your health, and in terms of being a diet you enjoy. (Why avoid ALL the foods that are bad for B nonnies, or all the foods that are bad for Nomads, rather than JUST the foods that are bad for you personally?) But SWAMI is also more expensive and a little more complicated to get started. Not everybody needs, wants, or can afford a SWAMI. If that's the case, then you need to decide if you want to follow the BTD book or the GTD book. Both are excellent diets and should yield great results. And you can always switch from one to the other after a few months if you want to.

Whichever diet plan you decide on, stick to it and ignore the other food lists. The books offer great information about how our bodies work and what foods can do for us, so they're well worth hanging onto and referencing, but you can do that without following the food lists in them.

I think your NS status may affect your Nomad diet.  My son is B+ secretor, regular taster and it works fine for him except since he’s not lactose intolerant and milk makes him feel good, he ignored that recommendation.
