Breakfast - meatloaf (Hunter compliant) carrots and ghee (I am almost to the 6 months point) green tea
Lunch - can of tuna packed in Olive oil 2 slices of sweet potato salad of chicory, romaine, radicchio, celery french dressing (lemon juice, Walnut Oil, EVOO, paprika, sea salt mixed in the blender) green tea
Snack - 2 servings of watermelon 1 small banana green tea
Dinner - turkey sloppy joe (compliant except for a bit of tomato paste) same salad and dressing as lunch steamed peas/sweet potato/zucchini mixture
I felt wonderful and this really kept me full. I was hungry a bit sooner after eating the fruit, but that is what I wanted, for it to just hold me over for 2 hours before dinner. If I wanted to stay full longer I would have added some pumpkin seeds or nuts.
My weight was down a bit today and I feel very good this morning with no joint aches so the carrots and the bit of tomato paste I used didn't seem to bother me.

My kids (28 and 25 years old) don't really follow it either, but they are both very health conscious and know the foods good for their genotype. Neither has any major health issue and are both active and at good body weights. I am interesting in getting them to know the weight loss and the worst avoid foods for them because I think that knowledge alone is so valuable for later in their lives.
My 28 year old son is the explorer and you know their motto is "I'll do it my way" so I don't push it, but rather it is something that we can discuss (he lives in Boston) we have great conversations about the genotype diet.
My 25 year old son is a chiropractor and is saving for a home and lives here with us. He has his own system of protein shakes and working out that he follows. He certain benefits from what I are doing with the hunter diet because the food he eats that I prepare is compliant for his genotype. Also I no longer buy bread (except for Sami's)so he only eats wheat when he is out.
They have both seen the change in me since going gluten-free too and so that I think speaks volumes to them.
I am sure that the example that you are setting is doing more for your daughter then you may think. Also in this day and age what girl doesn't want to know the foods that can make her lose weight and gain weight!

sure - being an explorer myself - I´m not even completely sure that dr. D is 100 % right( yet) - cause I know best what fits me and somehow 100 % explorer is not 100 % right for me

Breakfast: A mango, banana, rooibos tea and a few dates while cooking. Meal = 10-12 oz steak, and stirfry turnip greens with onion, garlic, kelp, chiles, dandelion and homemade curry mix. Ghee. A few walnuts.
Midday: Rosehip and chamomille (mixed) tea.
Dinner: Chicory salad with chopped fennel (anise), dressing = grapejuice, tahini, EVOO, basil and tarragon. One pot meal Job's tears, sardines, broccoli, lots of butter, curry mix plus seasalt and nutritional yeast + 2 eggs mixed in just before removing from heat. May or may not use cranberries in one pot meal depending on mood and if I remember!
Normally only eat twice a day.
Edit: Added items to stir fry. Used the cranberries in stirfry as well.
I think you are 100% right about that! I know that there are things in the Hunter diet that don't agree with me even though I have felt wonderful on it and have lost weight.
When I did the determinator test, I scored that the Blood Type Diet would be better for me. I have played the last week or so with making slight changes and trying the O Nonsecretor diet even though I am a secretor. Call it intuition, but I just feel that I should try this O Nonsecretor diet (thus the carrots in yesterday's meal plan and the tomato too.)

It's best to experiment a little to find out what you like. I put mine together by 'eyeball' to a general proportion. From day to day I may also adjust by adding extra ginger or clove for a specific dish, as an example.
Roughly, I'm using 6 parts each corriander and ginger with 4 parts fenugreek, 2 parts turmeric and 1 part each clove, cayenne and cinnamon. Sometimes I go heavier on the fenugreek. Usually mix enough to last a month or so at once. Anise seed can be added as well but I usually do that seperately.
Don't forget to use sage or rosemary now and then as well, great Hunter herbs.

Yesterday I ate:
Cranberries + almond dark chocolate throught the day with a few coffees + milo.
Wasabi peas for lunch (bad though cos they are shop ones with wheat-felt sick today).
evening: pineapple juice, grapefruit juice, chicken, brocoli sweet potato, carrot. 2 glasses of white wine. some cashews and lollies.
This morning I felt really sick.
Then today I drank some grapefruit juice, almond dark chocolate with coffee for b/fast.
For lunch I had dates then roast chicken with a bit of artichoke.
Tonight I might have that too as I have leftovers.
Have to give that curry a go.
I wish we had a Hunter cookbook to help with each meal - I guess its something we are working towards though.
The main thing I've noticed which I've heard others mention too is I will eat a little bit and feel full and then no longer feel like eating. like my hunger is satisfied a lot more.

Losing the coffe will help even if you think you 'need' it. Substitute green tea or yerba mate to get some 'kick'.

one of the many seeds/spices added to curry..... it is a potent immune booster, also known to lower blood sugar levels.

Then I bought a packet of cranberries like 250gms + a packet of Pecans also 250gms & have nearly eaten all of both.

If you are not trying to lose weight you may have more of the diamond foods than the guidelines suggest. It is better not to over indulge on nuts though, that pkg was probably about a weeks worth... that said, I sometimes eat that much as well. There is no suggested upper limit on fruit.

this smoothie has evolved over many months. breakfast varies a little but the basics are 20 oz cold water 2 tbls ground flax 2 tbls hemp protein 3 tbls shelled hemp 2 tbls cacao nibs 2 tbls raw carob 1 tbls spirulina 1 tsp raw honey or agave dash of cinnamon slice of ginger frozen cranberries,blueberries,mango,pineapple sometimes I soak a handful of raw almonds overnight and use that instead of the hemp.
for my snack smoothie with kale and pears I use 1 cup of water and you need a high power blender for this one like a Vita mix.
Last night I tried Sardines for the first time in years. It was adriatic sea ones in Spring water - I seasoned it with salt and curry and ate it with curried rice with ghee and it was really nice simple cheap meal and mostly diamond.
I've noticed that the majority of the hunters who have given their diets eat meat for breakfast. Love it! It's not at all unusual for me to eat a hamburger for breakfast, if I'm hungry. If I'm not hungry then I'll just do Dr. D's protein drink. I'm nursing and know that I need the nutrition otherwise half the time I'd skip breakfast all together. As for what I eat, it's mostly meat, fruit and veggies. I've noticed over the years being on the BTD that I need very LITTLE carbs. None would be fine. Although certain beans are a diamond my body still doesn't take to that kind of thing too well. The older I get the quicker I gain the pounds and the harder it is to get them off. Nuts, beans and grains... I'm better off without. Now dark chocolate... that's different!

not me man.. I've got to have the recommended amounts Dr. D suggests because otherwise my Serotonin levels go down and the big time cravings kick in.
Today we had Rice Spaghetti (red sauce with carmalized onions and garlic) with buffalo and grass fed beef meatballs for breakfast!
Lunch was a Kale juice Smoothie with pineapple, pear juice, egg white protein powder, ground flax seed, chia seeds and vegi glycerine; and some homemade fruit ice cream. (I did not feel like a heavy lunch). Hubby added two slices of baked leg of lamb to his lunch meal.
Dinner was Beef Round sliced and cooked slowly in olive oil and beef broth until done with the juices thickened with Arrowroot powder and Kale added at the last minute... served 'over' stir fried onions, garlic, sweet potato, turnip, rutabaga, and ghee. Watermelon for desert.
mmmm that sounds so yummy funkmouse. it's like you have perfected the hunter cooking - it's awesome. I can't live without the carbs either. Last night I tried a delicious fruit salad of chopped pinapple,watermelon dressed with a passionfruit and I put it in the freeser for a bit first - it was sososo yummy.

Dinner: eye fillet steak marinated in ghee and chilli powder + Broccoli. Over this I drizzled sauteed garlic and jalepeno with the left over steak sauce. cardamom, fennel & mustard seed(yellow) tea.
Morning: honey and cinnamon tea, green tea, pecans, walnuts, pepitas, dates & almonds. (snacking all morning)

And I thought I was a big eater! But actually you have laid out a perfectly balanced day of meals and the portion sizes aren't so large.. it all makes sense!
I am happy to report I just had my first meal of greens / protein. I had a can of turnip/mustard greens mix just in water.... sautéed that in ghee and then did an egg next to it in the pan. Seasoned with curry and cumin.... My first compliant Hunter breakfast!
I decided to ditch the fruit meals ( even though they were diamond fruits) and follow the diet as prescribed.... I'm trying!!!
