I am blood type B. I've been trying to eat more organ meats since I heard they are good for you. I noticed for my blood type, heart is an "avoid" food . Is there any certain reason why it is avoid ?

Also, would cow tongue and cow brain be highly beneficial, neutral, or avoid ?

Thank you

Unless listed separately, I would assume that organ meats have the same rating as muscle meats of the same animal. Since you're a B, those would be neutral for you.

There must  be something in beef hearts that's not good for type B people to digest. I don't know the specific reason for that particular food. Taking a look at the typebase http://www.dadamo.com/typebase4/depictor5.pl?197 I can see that it " Increases polyamine or indican levels." I'm not entirely sure what that means.

Beef heart is neutral for B non-secretors. If you test your secretor status, and turn out to be a non-secretor, then beef heart would be neutral for you.

Liver looks like a healthier choice, as it's neutral for B secretors and beneficial for B non-secretors.  http://www.dadamo.com/typebase4/depictor5.pl?233

Polyamines are the result of the breakdown of some foods and changes in polyamine levels can be a factor in many diseases, etc...

Here is a blog by Dr. D'Adamo about the Indican test he refers to in the Eat Right book:

The only organ meats listed on my SWAMI are heart, liver, and sweatbreads. In poultry, the only organ meat listed is liver. I'm not sure that the SWAMI will really give more guidance than BTD on this specific question.

I assume (like Ruthiegirl) that the beef rating is used for all beef except when a part is specifically rated, like the Heart, Beef.

I think it would be especially important to have grass-fed beef when the brains are eaten due to the fat ratio changing depending on the feed source.

I simply take my organ meat values given in my swami

and assume any edible organ will have the same rating.....

but hey, I am a weird LDN!!!!  ha

If you feel fine after eating it & it agrees with you, then keep eating them.
I don't feel good after eating liver which I tried quite a few times over the last year, even though I enjoyed it at the time.
