Description:
This is substitute baking powder that may be use instead of regular baking powder. The recipe is from the label on the arrowroot starch I purchased.


General applicability:

Baking Powder with Arrowroot 1
Green: recipe contains only neutral or a beneficials ingredients for that type.
Yellow: recipe contains an secondary avoid ingredient that may be substituted by a more permissable one.
Orange: contains an avoid in a primary ingredient.



Ingredient list:
  • 2/3 cup cream of tartar
  • 2/3 cup arrowroot
  • 1/3 cup baking soda


How to make it:
  • Mix well.
  • Store in airtight container.
  • One teaspoon of regular baking powder equals 1-1/2 teaspoons of this Arrowroot Baking Powder.
