- 1 pound herring in wine sauce
- 2 apples, chopped
- 2 boiled potatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans
- 15-16 ounces beets, chopped
- 1-2 Tablespoons beet juice
- 1 Tablespoon herring juice
- 3 Tablespoons mayonnaise [mayonnaise recipes]
- sea salt, to taste
- fresh ground black peppercorns, to taste
How to make it:
- Mix everything together well.
- Serve immediately, or refrigerate.
