Description:

Quick and easy cheese sauce for pasta or vegetables.

Best Used By Blood Types:
  • Type A (4 beneficials)
  • Type A Non Secretor (1 beneficials)
  • Type AB (2 beneficials)
  • Type O (1 beneficials)

Category:
  • Other

Ingredients:
  • 3 ounces silken tofu
  • 3 ounces cheddar soy cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil (linseed, canola, olive)
  • 1 Tablespoon soy milk or water

How to make it:
  1. Grate the soy cheese and combine everything in a microwave safe bowl.
  2. Blend well with an electric mixer.
  3. Microwave for 30 seconds, blend again and microwave for another 30 seconds. As everyone knows all microwave are different so times may vary.
  4. Add salt or other seasonings to taste.
  5. For macaroni and cheese I add the cheese sauce to two cups of cooked kamut spirals but I'm sure other pastas would work equally well. You can also use it to liven up broccoli, asparagus or other vegetables.

    Please Note:

Cook Right For Your Type is the definitive cookbook for those following the Blood Type Diet. When using any recipe, always check it for avoids and make the appropriate adjustments where necessary. The Blood Type Diet Recipe Database has recently been greatly enhanced. Also, the food lists changed somewhat a few years ago, and all recipes in the database may not reflect those changes in terms of the blood types for which the recipes are recommended.

Volunteer Blood Type Diet Forums Members are working to review and update all the recipes to take advantage of all the new features and food lists. Please be patient until the process has been completed.
