Spaghetti Squash, Italian-Style

Spaghetti squash dish

Ingredients:
  • spaghetti squash
  • Parmesan cheese [or BTD compliant cheese]
  • butter [or ghee]
  • sea salt
  • cayenne, optional
  • parsley, optional
How to make it:
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Wash squash and cut in half lengthwise.
  3. Remove and discard seeds.
  4. Place squash, cut sides down on a tray.
  5. Bake 55 minutes or until squash is tender.
  6. Using a fork, remove spaghetti-like strands from squash and discard shells.
  7. Place strands in a serving bowl.
  8. Add sea salt, butter or ghee, and Parmesan cheese, if desired.
  9. Toss gently.
  10. Garnish with parsley and/or cayenne, if desired.
  11. Serve immediately.
