A small sprinkle of gomasio, or sesame salt, is an excellent garnish for vegetables or brown rice.
How to make it:
- 1/2 cup organic sesame seeds
- 1 Tablespoon salt
- Toast the sesame seeds, over low flame in a dry, cast iron griddle, stirring with a wooden spoon, until they smell 'toasted'.
- Add the salt and grind lightly in a coffee grinder or a blender.
