Rice Cake 'Popcorn'

Description:

This is a great popcorn substitute. I have not included amounts, as this is so simple, everyone can figure out how many rice cakes they need to crumble for the amount of faux popcorn they want, and the other ingredient amounts are to taste.

Ingredients:
  • Lundberg wild rice cakes (I prefer Lundberg, you could use another brand) [or puffed rice]
  • dark-toasted sesame oil (I like Spectrum brand) [or olive oil]
  • nutritional yeast flakes (I like KAL brand)
  • sea salt (I like Cerulean Seas)

    Optional Ingredients:

  • garlic
  • a tiny dash of freshly-squeezed lemon juice
How to make it:
  1. Break up rice cakes into bite-sized pieces
  2. Place in a bowl and add all other ingredients
  3. Mix together
