Lemon Butter Biscuits
Ingredients:- 250 grams raw sugar [or BTD compliant sweetener]
- 375 grams wholemeal spelt flour {or BTD compliant flour]
- 250 grams butter [or ghee]
- 2-1/2 Tablespoons grated lemon rind or 1 teaspoon vanilla
How to make it:- Melt butter.
- Mix in sugar, lemon rind, and flour, in this order.
- Kneed till it is well mixed and doughy.
- Roll out small balls and flatten on baking tray (I use baking paper, easy to clean up)
- Cook in oven at 210c for approximately 12 to 15 minutes, and allow to cool.
- Place in airtight container.
- Makes 24 biscuits.
