Super Broccoli Salad


This is a great salad for all types with minor adjustments for your BT type.

  • Two large heads of broccoli - broken up into small pieces
  • 1/2 to 1 cup raisins
  • 1/4 to 1/2 imitation bacon bits (soy based or whatever fits your profile)
  • Dressing:
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup mayonnaise (As may try tofu)
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice (recipe calls for vinegar)
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds or almond slices
How to make it:
  1. Prepare dressing and allow to sit while you prepare the broccoli.
  2. Pour dressing over broccoli, raisins, and imitation bacon bits and stir to distribute dressing and let sit overnight refrigerated.Dressing melds well as it sits.
  3. Just before serving sprinkle nuts and toss. (Imitation bacon bits may get soggy so you may save them and sprinkle with the nuts at the last minute.)
