Super Broccoli Salad
Description:
This is a great salad for all types with minor adjustments for your BT type.
Ingredients:- Two large heads of broccoli - broken up into small pieces
- 1/2 to 1 cup raisins
- 1/4 to 1/2 imitation bacon bits (soy based or whatever fits your profile)
- Dressing:
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup mayonnaise (As may try tofu)
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice (recipe calls for vinegar)
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds or almond slices
How to make it:- Prepare dressing and allow to sit while you prepare the broccoli.
- Pour dressing over broccoli, raisins, and imitation bacon bits and stir to distribute dressing and let sit overnight refrigerated.Dressing melds well as it sits.
- Just before serving sprinkle nuts and toss. (Imitation bacon bits may get soggy so you may save them and sprinkle with the nuts at the last minute.)
