A tasty and versatile recipe for all blood types.

How to make it:
- approx. 1 cup spelt bread crumbs.
- 2 or 3 cloves garlic
- 1 small onion or several green onions or chives
- aprox. 1 cup dried cranberries
- freshly cracked black pepper (types A and AB omit.)
- 1 to 2 lbs. ground turkey
- I use a food processor to prepare this recipe.
- If you don't have a processor, put very dry bread in a bag and crush it to crumbs with a rolling pin or the side of a glass.
- Chop everything else up fine and combine in a bowl.
- Toss a few slices of spelt bread into the food processor and process till you have fine crumbs.
- If the bread is toasted or dried out, this works better.
- Put peeled garlic, chunks of onion or chives, cranberries, parsley, salt and pepper into processor and process fairly fine.
- Add turkey and process to blend well.
- With clean hands, form mixture into approximately 1 inch balls, rolling meat between your palms so it holds together well.
- Place on broiler pan coated with non-stick cooking spray and broil at 400F until well browned on all sides, turning during cooking.
- If necessary, brown in olive oil in a frying pan instead.
- When meatballs are done, you can serve them so many ways. I like them in a plum-based sauce with tamari sauce, stir-fried broccoli, carrots and cauliflower and pineapple chunks.
- They can be made a little smaller and served with a dipping sauce for an appetizer, or sliced as a pizza topping.
- Serve them with a sauce over rice or pasta or in a broth-based gravy with mashed potatoes
- as allowed by your type.
- With nicer weather on the way,I plan to try adapting this recipe to make turkey burgers for the B.B.Q., which would taste great with a teriaki-style B.B.Q. sauce. Enjoy!
