Oatmeal Spelt Bread

Description:

This is a bread machine recipe adapted from 'Great Bread Machine Recipes' by Norman A. Garrett. This makes a flavorful but heavy 1 lb loaf. I have achieved good results with my Proctor Silex, you may have to experiment a little to get good results.

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cups spelt flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons soy milk
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon molasses
  • 3/4 cup warm water
How to make it:
  1. Place into bread machine according to manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Adjust for your compliance.
