Pancakes
Description:
This is a general pancake recipe that can be modified to suit taste, blood type or allergy.
Ingredients:- Dry:
- 1 cup Flour (or use spelt; 3/4 c spelt, 1/4 c buckwheat; 7/8 c rice, 1/8 c soy; 3/4 c rice, 1/4 spelt)
- 2 teaspoon non-aluminum BTD baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Wet:
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk (use cow, rice or soy for BTD compliance)
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
How to make it:- Combine dry ingredients.
- Beat egg & mix egg and other wet ingredients.
- Combine all ingredients thoroughly (you may wish to add a little flour or milk at this time to adjust texture).
- Let stand 5 to 10 minutes.
- Cook on hot griddle.
