Pancakes

Description:

This is a general pancake recipe that can be modified to suit taste, blood type or allergy.

Ingredients:
  • Dry:
  • 1 cup Flour (or use spelt; 3/4 c spelt, 1/4 c buckwheat; 7/8 c rice, 1/8 c soy; 3/4 c rice, 1/4 spelt)
  • 2 teaspoon non-aluminum BTD baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Wet:
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk (use cow, rice or soy for BTD compliance)
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
How to make it:
  1. Combine dry ingredients.
  2. Beat egg & mix egg and other wet ingredients.
  3. Combine all ingredients thoroughly (you may wish to add a little flour or milk at this time to adjust texture).
  4. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. Cook on hot griddle.
