Sweetbread with fries

Description:

This recipe makes a lovely luncheon meal.

Ingredients:
  • 500 grams sweetbreads
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 beaten egg
  • seasoning.
How to make it:
  1. Place sweetbreads into boiling salted water and cook for five minutes, then drain.
  2. Beat egg and add seasoning.
  3. Put breadcrumbs into a small plastic bag and add sweetbreads one at a time.
  4. Closing off opening of bag then shake to cover sweetbread in crumbs.
  5. Fry sweet breads until golden brown.
  6. Serve with fries and a green salad.
