Peach Hot Sauce

Description:

Makes a great BBQ sauce for meats. Substitution suggestions for the hot peppers are ginger or horseradish root or cumin. Other fruit suggestions were guava, tamarind, mango and possibly fresh fig.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup peaches
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup onions
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 5-6 habeneros or Fatalli peppers
  • 5 cloves garlic
How to make it:
  1. Cook 5 to 7 hours in a slow cooker OUTSIDE (fumes).
  2. Blend it in a blender and strain it through a wire strainer outside.
  3. Either can it using the hot water bath method or store it in the fridge.
