Quick Savoury Bread (without baking powder or baking soda)

Description:

A good accompaniment for scrambled eggs!

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup brown rice flour
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground millet (optional)
  • 1 small egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ghee
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon chili powder (or any spice/dry herb)
  • Pineapple juice or any compliant juice
How to make it:
  1. Whisk egg
  2. Add ghee and sea salt and whisk again
  3. Blend in flours & spice
  4. Mix well by adding pineapple juice till you get a creamy batter
  5. Leave mixture to soak for 10 minutes
  6. Spread on parchment paper
  7. Bake for 20 minutes at 180C
