DESCRIPTION: Improvement mainly due to nearly total elimination of food listed on my avoid list. The book only confirmed the experience I had gathered during the years regarding which food to avoid.I knew for a long time that I thrived best on meat and rice but had forced myself to eat "healthy" foods. Now I avoid, if possible, eating "healthy" food that is on my avoid list.Bloating is still a problem now and then since I eat in the hospitals restaurant where it sometimes is impossible to avoid certain ingredients. The main point I would like to make is that the book has given me a theory and strategy that seems helpful in controling my digestive problems.Wether my "autoimmune like problems" (clinically verified degenerative modifications of the spinal cord, pain from joints and tendons, constant fever perseption, fatigue to name a few symptoms)which I now control with a drug that really helped me back to a normal life (Tenoxikam) will improve on the diet remains to be seen. I have tried several times to get along without the drug but deteriorated just after several days and had to go back taking the drug once a day.Another thing I would like to mention is that my digestive symptoms got worse and worse with aging. Food that I could tolerate as a child or young adult make me really sick when I aet them today (age 48). So I would suspect that regeneration of my body will take several years and some tissues may never recover from a long time exposure to "poisonous" food.
