Ratus ratus

Lecster ID:560 Edit Entry
Source Organism:Rat
Species:Ratus ratus
Common Nomenclature:Rat peritioneal macrophage lectin
Class:
Index Nomenclature:LECa.Rat.Rat.xx.Xfu1 LECa.Rat.Rat.xx.Xga1
Characterization Notes:Rat peritoneal macrophages were shown to have two distinct mannose/fucose/N-acetylglucosamine-specific lectins. The 29 and 32 kDa lectins were identified as members of the liver mannan-binding protein family on the basis of their immunochemical crossreactivity, collagenase sensitivity, and molecular sizes.
