Characterization Notes:A lectin was isolated from the external mucus of fish, Genypterus blacodes. This is the first lectin isolated from fish.
Biological Activity:The lectin agglutinated mouse, rabbit and human erythrocytes at a concentration of 15.6 micrograms/ml.
