However, one does not need a medical degree or education to benefit from the information presented. Approximately 50% of the attendees at the 2003, 2005 amd 2007 Conferences were lay readers of Dr. D'Adamo's books or other individuals who were looking to use the information to enrich their own lives. The non-medical attendees had exactly the same level of satisfaction (97+%) with the Conference as health professionals. IfHI Conferences feature extensive audio-visual enhancement, and all attendees are presented with the complete lecture notes. The Conference also allows for one-to-one interactions, when possible, between attendees and presenters, particularly at breaks and social events. The conference is layperson friendly: If you are not a health care professional but are interested in nutrition, you are more than welcome to attend. IfHI sponsors a biannual symposia to provide opportunities for training, testing and certification in advanced polymorphic medicine,nutrigenomics and metabolomics. The IfHI Biannual Symposia is held in Phoenix, Arizona at the Marriot Buttes Resort. The Greater Phoenix area is at the hub of a world-renowned recreational area, with excellent shopping, fantastic works of man and natural and a vibrant cultural atmosphere. Our special room rates at the Marriot Buttes extend for upwards of three days after the conference ends, so plan on staying a while longer to soak up the sun and fun! The next symposia and certification takes place in the Spring of 2009.
