WELCOME TO IFHI 2011: GENERATIVE MEDICINE
MAY 20-22, 2011, DOLCE CONFERENCE CENTER, NORWALK, CONNECTICUT
The root of all generative science is the quality of emergence and the process of self-organization. If we can summarize holism as the "whole is greater than the sum," then emergence might be paraphrased as "new levels of significance arise with new hierarchies." Emergence is central to the theories of integrative levels and of complex systems. These properties allow for a holistic interpretation of events, versus the more common linear interpretation seen in reductionism, the heretofore dominant medical worldview. The Generative Model offers the hope of a true collaboration between medicine and healing.
"The problem with analyzing naturopathic therapies is that most researchers see them as complex entities working in simple relationships. Reality is more often the exact opposite of this."

IfHI sponsors a biannual symposia to provide opportunities for training, testing and certification in advanced polymorphic medicine, nutrigenomics and epigenetics. IfHI Conferences feature extensive audio-visual enhancement, and all attendees are presented with the complete lecture notes. The Conference also allows for one-to-one interactions, when possible, between attendees and presenters, particularly at breaks and social events. The conference is layperson friendly. If you are not a health care professional but are interested in nutrition and life-enrichment, you are more than welcome to attend.
