Those pre-disposed to the consumption of animal protien would most likely be the ones more capable of handling arachidonic acid. I'm curious, then. AA is associated with increased production of "bad eicosanoids" (prostaglandins, thromboxanes, and leukotrienes), which tend to result in more inflammatory reactions and narrowed blood vessels. Are these problems less common among Os? If not, are they less common among Os eating the O diet? Hmmm...
