Plain quinoa, cooked with sun-dried tomatoes

Quinoa is very high in protein, the highest of all grains; also it is low on the glycemic index, meaning it will satisfy your appetite for a long period of time. You can cook it by bringing it to a boil, the way you would with rice, but then decrease the temperature to low, and cook for 15 minutes (low boil). and season with sun-dried tomatoes and salt or tomato pesto or dried tomatoes in jar with olive oil.
