Athletic Recovery

For those of you who are doing intense exercise (weight-lifting, running, gymnastics, etc) what kind of things are you doing to recover (supplements, etc)? As for me, I am doing creatine, Vitamin C, and a protein drink (containing whey-about to abandon it).I am pushing some pretty heavy poundage, but this does not seem to be enough, even though I am doing a two day on-one day off-two day on-two day off schedule. Come on, share your best secrets with me! -Thomas
