GBS was a vegetarian and lived to be 94

George Bernard Shaw was a socialist, anti-vivisectionist, vegetarian, and great playwright. He advocated vegetarianism before much was known about it and before it became part of the popular culture. He was healthy and vigorous to the age of 94 when he fell out of a tree he was pruning and broke his leg and died not long after. Interesting. That does not mean everyone should automatically go out and become vegetarians. But it does mean that some people can thrive on plant based foods. I wonder what Shaw's blood type was?
