Health Food Stores -- Pseudo or not?
Posted By: Sue
I live in Texas, so I don't know if this is true everywhere; but I've noticed that some stores that claim the "health food" status seem to be more interested in the "look" than the reality. I know that Dr. D'Adamo advises us to go organic as much as possible and that is what I am doing, but at what a price (literally). The only truly health food store here is Whole Foods, very expensive, but truly good. As I was looking for other stores, I remembered Seekers. But when I went there, I discovered that nothing in the store was really organic or healthy, it just had the look. Actually, it was totally pseudo health food. This is really too bad, because we need some competition to drive some of the prices down.
Do any of you have this problem?
