For the record, the Adult Teatanus vaccine does not contain Pertussis. Nor is it a live virus vaccine. It is a synthetic. As far as toxic preservatives, yes, I believe it contains a mercury-type compound. An individual would have to weigh the risks vs benefits, as with everything. Diptheria is still around, so is tetanus. Depends where you live, and travel.
