I thought I read that the basis for the Dr.'s work was science, not theory, not religion. I believe that he stated that the foods in the avoid lists mostly contain dangerous lectins that are observable under a microscope. He mentioned the Jewish dietary law when he spoke of some case examples. I do not remember reading that it was the basis for his work. Correct me with a page number from the book, if I have mistated. Thanks
