If you remember, we ex-veggies were brainwashed by
Klapper, McDougall and every animal rights group
out there that all diseases are caused by eating
meat. They all had what seemed a reasonable and
well-documented arguments to refute just about anything
whole health professionals might say to advocate
the eating of any animal protein. Add that to our
bias of devoted compassion for animals and you have
the stubborn, single-mindedness that led us to full-
blown immune disease.
So when I had chronic problems for years following
my surgeries, I swore devoutly that my vegetarianism
would heal and strengthen my body when in fact, it
has done the opposite. The toughest part of going
EY4RT for me was coping with the guilt and humiliation
of being and ordained 13 year advocate for veganism
and suddenly having to cower secretly in a corner
and gnaw on flesh to begin the healing process. It's
tough for people so passionate in thier beliefs to
admit they might have been even a little wrong and
harder still to admit they may have been alot wrong.
