Wally, Gail answered your question better than I could. I should have said 'additive' rather than 'processed'. Either way, in my opinion it is still processed meat. In regards to whether or not the ER4YT book is a quality product...I think Dr. D went to great lengths to include as much as he possibly could in the original book. I suppose for $20 he could have written an encyclopedia to have answered every possible question we might have. As is it, I think he included a ton of info. Of course, I'm sure there are things he thought later should have been included or he thought might best be put into another book. Just in case you're not aware, he is writing "updates" to the original book. "Live Right 4 Your Type" and "Cook Right 4 Your Type" should be out soon. Sorry if I sound a little put off, but I think he put out a quality product the first time around and I look forward to the new book(s). I think he was very gracious to have a web site where we can lend support, give ideas, etc. as well as be able to obtain blood type specific lists without even having to buy the book (although I highly recommend getting the book as there is so much more info than just the diet). I know that there are Dr. D approved changes to the original lists, but I'm not sure where they are located. Hopefully someone who knows will see this and give you the link. Respectfully, Roxy
