brown spots on my body

I am an A with olive skin, 55yrs.old and have breast cancer. I have developed brown raised spots on my stomach, sides, and back. Have had them checked by a dermatologist who says they are not malignant. To remove them, the dermatologist has to "freeze" them with a cold gas. I am following the A diet and love it. Has anyone found any other way to remove them?
