I haven't (yet) found support for their claim that the mechanism of mercury removal was cilantro chelation of the mercury. Maybe there is soemwhare a breakdown of the components of cilantro which will provide the missing link. I haven't seen it/ Has anyone?

Chelation therapy to remove a heavy metal, once started, has to be repeated or continued for a while because the chelation can remove not only stuff from the blood, it can start to loosen up the heavy metals that were stored in bone.
Rapid removal of heavy metals can be desirable, but it has to be done all the way to completion, or it can leave the patient even sicker.
