Hi, CM! This is a juicer, and there's no frappe setting, just juice hard veg, soft veg, and off. It won't retain enough soap during the juice phase to do the trick. I'll try a high-heat clean with Castile soap, but this h-g ain't got no dishwasher, either!
There must be some substance that dissolves beta-carotene residue on contact; any idea what it could be? tx 4 yer help! heidi
