How Alka-Seltzer Gold Differs

In Response To: Re: Alka-Seltzer Gold (Sandra L)
Regular blue boxes of Alka-Seltzer contain an alkalizer (Sodium citrate) AND a painkiller (aspirin). Other versions may use less sodium plus acetaminophen (tylenol) or a cold remedy. Alka-Seltzer Gold only contains the antacid, without the painkiller. If you wish to alkalize, better elements than sodium are available; try calcium and magnesium, which are more beneficial and tolerable than sodium. Best wishes, David
