In Response To: Re: My Suggestion (Peter D'Adamo)
Although I would qualify as one of the 'regulars,' I have to admit that I am always looking for ways to boost my own learning curve and rate of return on time invested. Digging up factual responses to new questions is something that I like to do, and any repaying for this site's resources by helping newcomers seems only fair. I have also been the recipient of this board's extraordinary ability to gather support for persons in crisis. When I'm about to move onto greener pastures intellectually, Todd (usually) asks a delectibly difficult question, and I'm hooked again. Basically I think we have to look at the board as a somewhat muddled information base, a forum, and an informal but powerful support group. When (not if) the volunteers grow weary, or bored, then what?
