In Response To: Dental Work/Canker Sores (Cerise)
Try using a toothpaste without Sodium Lauryl Sulphate. Since switching from Crest and other popular brands my canker sores have gone from frequent to almost never. The Sensodyne Cool Gel brand/flavor is a good one that can usually be found at the likes of WalMart. Beware that not all of the Sensodyne flavors are without the SLS. Along the same lines, I frequently had sores on my head, and they have been somewhat alieviated since I stopped using name brand shampoos (which contain SLS). I have not found a suitable substitute, but am currently using a glycerine bar soap.
