A simple solution for your mother might be to
supplement with lysine - an amino acid that
balances out an abundance of arginine,
which can cause mouth sores.
Does your Mom eat a lot of nuts, nut butters or seeds?
They are very high in arginine and can cause
problems. It always works for me whenever I
overindulge and halts a breakout. Just a thought. louise
