Re: Joan: Point Taken, But what would it take?

CM, your image of the new visitors getting on board, was very helpful. It reminded me that this is only the ER4YT boat (and is it a ferry?), not the naturopathic boat for everything, nor the environmental health boat, etc. etc. We've talked before about what topics seem to belong here. The normal turnover in 'crew' and 'passengers' means that we aren't going to turn it into a research vessel or an out-patient clinic. I'm probably just restless for voyages in deeper waters and uncharted areas. To answer your header question, my dream would be a cybercommunity which has stabilized with each of the three components present: quest for better technique, gentle management, and interpersonal activities. I feel like Gandalf coaxing the Hobbits to leave a restful spot to face more adventures for a noble cause. To answer your text question: I had a lumpectomy, I will have radiation therapy and tamoxifen, and I visit a massage therapist who helps me with paryerful guided imagery. I have already talked with my teenagers about my mortality, so that they can be ready for whatever happens. The road goes ever ever on. Peace. I'm tired and I'll give it all a rest. Joan
