Hi, OJoan! Lovely post, but as you will see in the responses, your audience is now composed of 1) the 'converted,' and 2) the 'incorrigible.' Talking about why the site is here; what "general" means; how interesting and frequent the discussions used to be between some highly accredited medical and research folks, Peter and others; what's appropriate to a doctor/scientist's web representative; the sometimes virulent permutations of 'jollity...' These ideas and so many others have been put forward so many times. Once more can't hurt, though - right? Who knows...
